I'm trying to get plain images of the 2D avatars but haven't found any way to convert the CMP and MOV files to individual jpeg/png frames, has there been a way to do that yet?

We don't really have any tool to my knowledge that can reverse the conversion process from the CMP format, but the RWX Exporter mod for 1920+ can read textures from memory and will dump them to BMP for you. That's if you can even get the mod to workーI've had plenty of success with it but I've heard a lot of users have issues getting it to load.

If all else fails just open the image in cmpview, size the window so the pixels are nice multiples of 2, screenshot it, then scale it back down with nearest-neighbor.

Literally just use CMPview and manually copy from the program and paste it into an image editor. Save it as whatever you want.

Oh right I forgot you could copy it. lol
