Was cleaning out some old screenshots when I stumbled upon the screenshot I used as reference for the Worlio logo.


I've never been very good at perspective and 3D detail, so I decided to make a rough quick crap model to use as my base. I think it held up and did wonders.

As for why the logo is a worm, my official statement if anyone is curious is that I saw the worm in a dream.

God spoke to me in my dreams and said "worms are cool".

I did something similar, also being bad at perspective. In the course of doing my fish avatar edits I wanted to do one with "The Persistence of Memory" which has a lot of weird distortions that I couldn't get right.

I ended up putting it in blender and using cloth physics to replicate it:

Oh yeah, this would've fucked me up. I could probably get it "close" but it would never look right atleast for me. I try to use Blender more as an assist than an alternative. I'll make a rough model in it and then trace it.

Wow, I've never had a dream like that before. I don't dream at all lately.
